Does CEEF organize any Summer Programs?

In addition to Three-month international programs, CEEF organizes extremely popular "cultural" exchanges during the summer months. Summer Exchanges do not involve any school time.

The destinations for 2013 Summer Programs are France and Spain. Because of existing agreements with CEEF’s International Partners, Summer Programs are available only to Ontario students. All departures are from Pearson International Airport.

Summer Program participants will:

• meet their exchange partners and host families
• settle into a new ambience
• participate in all aspects of family life abroad
• practice French or Spanish in real-life situations
• explore the sights of France or Spain
• experience first-hand the history, culture and cuisine of France or Spain
• reciprocate by hosting their visiting exchange partner for a month.

Summer Program Applicants first submit the 2013 Summer Preliminary Application and then go on to complete the more detailed Summer Application.

The Summer Program Fee includes:

• return travel from Toronto Airport to final destination abroad
• CEEF escort(s) on trans-Atlantic flights
• Comprehensive Travel Insurance
• a minimal CEEF administration fee (CEEF is a not-for-profit foundation)
• support of knowledgeable staff, if needed, throughout the summer exchange.

Summer Program fees do not include personal expenses for the period of the exchange.
