Do the numbers of students participating in the exchange have to be equal for both schools?

It is not necessary that the numbers be the same on both sides. It is understood that if there are more students visiting, the host school will find families to accommodate the additional students.

How are the schools abroad chosen to participate in an exchange?


CEEF works closely with a partner organization in each country which participates in the exchange program. Schools chosen for an exchange are those which have a keen interest in international education and which can offer a wide variety of experiences to Canadian students visiting the host communities.

How many students are required for an exchange?

The minimum number of students for traveling abroad is ten (10). The ideal number is from 15 to 20. However, more than 20 students can usually be accommodated.

How many escorts travel with each group?

The number of escorts accompanying students abroad is determined by the school following school board policy.
