What are the responsibilities for the school exchange co-ordinator?
Co-ordination responsibilities for school staff include:
• recruiting, screening and selecting students to participate in the exchange;
• conducting orientation sessions for students and their parents regarding both travelling abroad and hosting a group of visiting students;
• maintaining regular contact with the group leader from the partner school regarding matching of students, and arrangements for the visits of the two schools;
• arranging a school and community program for the visiting group;
• maintaining contact with CEEF, submitting all forms and payments as required, and consulting CEEF staff if any difficulties or problems arise during planning.
Responsibilities during the hosting period include:
• maintaining contact with families during the hosting program;
• consulting with the visiting group leader on all aspects of the visit;
• maintaining contact with CEEF staff regarding any problems, medical, discipline, or other, that may occur during the hosting program.
During the visit abroad, the group leaders will:

• attend school including classes, special discussions and all other activities planned for the group;
• be responsible for group morale and discipline;
• be available to students for help at any time during the exchange;
• meet regularly with the host co-ordinator to evaluate the program and resolve any problems that arise;
• maintain contact with staff of the CEEF partner organization regarding any problems, medical, discipline, or other, that may occur during the program abroad.
